Kang GURU English language services to Indonesia started in 1989. This means that Kang GURU is about to celebrate 20 years of service in Indonesia.

Keep watching this site for more news and don't forget to make sure you to read about it in our September and December magazines this year. Also, be sure to stay tuned to the 150 radio stations broadcasting Kang GURU all over Indonesia to hear all of Kang Guru's latest news and information.

KGRE's Latest News

As an active part of the Australia Indonesia Partnership, Kang GURU is proud to present a weekly English language radio program on close to 150 radio stations across Indonesia. That means around 200 broadcasts EVERY week from Sabang to Meureke!

Kang GURU, with support from the Australia Indonesia Partnership (AIP), AusAID and the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF), also produces a FREE English language magazine each March, June, September and December. This magazine is distributed to 17,000 registered listeners, around 800 educational institutions along with language clubs, local NGOs and AIP projects and activities, and their partners in Indonesia.

This comprehensive Kang GURU website attracts over 1,000,000 hits a year. That's a lot of hits! Check out the FORUM Page, register your profile and leave your own message for other English language learners to read and enjoy.

Kang GURU is linked directly with over 60 active, English language clubs across Indonesia. That is around 3000 young Indonesian English language learners benefiting directly from the services offered free of charge by Kang Guru and the Australia Indonesia Partnership.

Excellent English language materials are available for students and English language teachers. The SMP Teacher Package for junior high school teachers and the SMA Teacher Package for senior high school teachers are packages of supplementary materials to assist teachers in their busy classrooms. Both of these packages are directly linked to the current English language curriculum used in Indonesian schools.

The Staff of Kang Guru together with the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation, welcome you to this website designed primarily for you - the English language learner in Indonesia.
