The
Kang GURU
Connection Club (KGCC) is a network of active English language clubs in many
areas of Indonesia. These Bali KGCCs, and their members, help KGRE. In turn
KGRE, with assistance from AusAID, helps them. If you have an English language
club then why not apply to join the KGCC network? Membership of this network of
language clubs from KGRE and AusAID is FREE and FUN.

Fellowship English Club is located at SMPN 2 Mendoyo. We have 50 members which
are students of SMPN 2 Mendoyo. The reason for establishing this English club
were because many students have difficulty in studying English and yet they are
keen on studying English. That is why the purpose of making this English club
are to motivate students to study English, to promote English among students,
to get a good achievement at the end of the school program.

To implement the suggestion from Headmaster of SMPN 1 Mendoyo to the English
teacher Association in this school to try to perform the ability of students in
speaking English. We hold regular club meeting which is held every Thursday
afternoon. Activities in the meeting are praying, listening to Kang Guru
cassettes and doing exercise, playing game or quiz, problem solving, and
evaluate Club's program. We have had conducted bigger events such as: Weekend
Together Activity, Attractive Speech Contest, KGRE English Teacher workshop.
