Listening and Reading Class Set

The latest ‘Listening and Reading Class Set’ (March 2008) is now available. Make sure you have returned the Feedback from the December 2007'Listening and Reading Class Set' to automatically get this new March 2008 edition. KGRE ‘Listening and Reading Class Sets’ include –

  • twenty five (25) March 2008 Kang Guru Radio English magazines
  • one (1) audio cassette or audio CD featuring Indonesians and Australians reading selected articles from the magazine
  • many great language activities ready to use with students
  • suggestions for English language teachers on ways to use the magazines and the tape in their classrooms for reading and listening activities
Listening and Reading Class Sets

Teachers are reminded that KGRE ‘Listening and Reading Class Sets’ are primarily designed students who are able, and keen, to read the KGRE magazine. That generally means Upper Elementary level to Pre-Intermediate English level language learners. Segments and stories in the magazine do vary in level of difficulty. Always check activities before giving them to your students — are they suitable?

How To Order Listening and Reading Class Sets

To order the ‘Listening and Reading Class Sets’, teachers should send a letter, in English, to KGRE requesting the latest Kang Guru Reading Class Set. This letter should be signed by the Principal of their school. The materials are FREE to high schools and universities courtesy of KGRE, AusAID and the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation.

For individuals, language schools, etc. the ‘Listening and Reading Class Sets’ for 2008 will cost Rp.25,000 each.
They include 25 copies of the magazine, an activity book and an audio CD or cassette..
