| Tadir in Berau, East Kalimantan - No day without English. | |
| Lizzy | Try to do something in English everyday - get into the habit and do not stop it. Maybe you read a little one day, listen to KG the next day, write a little story the next day and so on. There are so many things that you can do that it is easy to find, something to do every day for a whole year if you wanted to. |
| Muhammad Abdul Latif from Ambulu in Jember,
East Java Don’t be afraid of making a mistake and be confident with your English. |
|
| Lizzy | Making mistakes is one of the best ways to learn a language successfully. Everyone makes mistakes when they are trying to use a new language. Native speakers make lots of mistakes too. Do not expect your English to be perfect. As long as people can understand your message - that is the important thing. As time passes you will get better but be prepared for lots of mistakes while learning. |
| Andy Hanafi from SMU 1 Tompobulu - Bantaeng
in South Sulawesi Joining a conversation club and participating in discussions is the best way to improve. |
|
| Lizzy | Learners who are members of active language clubs have a lot more opportunity to use their English in an interesting way. They can learn from the others in the club and they can also help others as well. Research has shown that language learners who are involved with a conversation or language club generally improve faster than someone who is not. |
