Problems often occur when non-native speakers try to write signs and instructions in a language that is not their own. Sometimes funny signs can be found, especially in tourist areas. Here are two signs for your club members to read and discuss. KGRE invites your club to draw a cartoon, or series of cartoons, that illustrate these two funny signs. Send the cartoons to KGRE before May 31st. Prizes include t-shirts, some of KGRE latest Compilation cassette sets and other merchandise from the Australian Education Centre in Jakarta. For the best single cartoon received, the club will receive a large collection of English comic books.
