Language Activity for March-April (May)

Many KG Connection Clubs are beginning to write to other clubs in the KGCC network. Members of the Excellent Club in Jombang, under the leadership of Pak Hakim, have started writing to other KGCCs such as Best Forum in Makassar, KTEC in Buton and Six Sense Club in Denpasar. This is fantastic. Please remember that if your club receives letters from another club you must answer quickly. Don’t wait! Write as soon as possible, even if it is just a note saying that you got their letters and your will answer properly in a week or so.

The Language Activity for this POUCH is to write a letter or email to one other club in the network. Make sure it is a club that you have not written to before. Introduce your club to them. Give them a little bit of information about your club (your profile perhaps) and ask them just two or three questions.

Send a photocopy of your letter together with a photocopy of their answer or response. The first 5 clubs to send these two copies of letters will be sent a complete copy of Series 42 of KG radio programs on cassette or CD. The BEST Set of 2 Letters will also win a double CD of ‘Heart Of Australia’ for both of the clubs involved.

FREE T-shirts for a Wall Hanging Competition

Only eight Clubs responded to this task. However only three of those Clubs followed the instructions and sent their thoughts and beautiful creations to KGRE in a Wall Hanging format. Those three lucky clubs have won plenty of KGRE t-shirts for their club members. They are the Six Sense Club in Denpasar (10 t-shirts - one for each club member), the IKIP Conversation Club in Tuban (32 t-shirts - one for each club member) and the SKY English Club in Cianjur (11 T-shirts - one for each club member). The Excellent Club in Jombang and the Junior Club sent colorful and creative entries but not in the form of Wall Hangings. They will receive 15 t-shirts each for their efforts.
