We strongly suggest that club members enter one or maybe even ALL of the competitions in the April 2003 magazine. It might also be a good idea to enter the competitions as a part of your regular club activities. Do the activities and task together! You might just win some prizes for your Club. Then your Club can use them as prizes for Club activities. Isn’t that a great idea! The 2003 KGRE Writing Competition is a particularly important competition and also a good language activity. Clubs could do a wonderful job of entering this competition as a group - lots of interesting discussion on this easy topic. Two people from your Club could win a trip to Bali or Jakarta courtesy of AusAID, IALF and KGRE. Deciding those two winners could be another great Club activity too. Lizzy’s Language Lab Liz Hunt has left the IALF to return to England. We shall miss her from both the radio program and the magazine. It is hoped that we can find a new “Guest Language Person” in the near future and definitely before the August magazine. |
