Interactive English on RRI Makassar

Nina, from RRI Makassar, together with support from Syahrir Badulu from the Best Forum English Club in Makassar are busily conducting a KGRE linked Interactive Radio Program each Saturday in Makassar. The show is now receiving many calls as people ring in to discuss the Topic of the Day. Kevin visited RRI Makassar and actually joined in with the program ‘live on air’. Since then the show has expanded to one hour and is heard just after the English News read by Pak Syahrir. With Nina and Syahrir plus a multitude of helpers, the program is a guarranteed success. Listening to this program is impossible for most of the readers of this POUCH but there is a way for you to hear a program just like it. Ask your local radio station to start a similar program in your area. Write to Nina and Syahriri at RRI Makassar for further information and before you know it you could also be running your own talkback interactive program. If you don’t organize it then who will?

Contact Details!

It is very important the KGRE has up to date contact details for each Club. If KGRE needs to get in touch with you we must have the correct information. We often send e-mails to Clubs but many of them are returned as the address is no longer valid. So if your postal addresses, e-mail addresses or phone numbers change, then please tell us immediately. If someone in your Club has a handphone then can we please have that number - we can always SMS the Club if an important matter arises that needs quick attention.
