Club Meeting Places?
On a recent visit to Palu in Central Sulawesi Kevin met Yusri, leader
of one of KGRE’s latest KGCCs - The Posisani English Club. Yusri
is having problems. He needs some advice about where he can hold his regular
club meetings. It isn’t easy to find a good place in Palu. Maybe
your club could contact Yusri on email at yusri77_besusu@yahoo.com or
contact KGRE with any information which may help Yusri.
- Where do you hold your regular club meetings?
- How did you find your place?
- Was it difficult to find?
- Do you have to pay for that place? If so, how much each week?
KGRE’s Interactive Program
Presenter’s (English) Network
In August 2005, seven eager and hard-working radio presenters met at
IALF Bali for a two day meeting. All seven of these people present English
language interactive radio programs in their respective cities. They were
invited to meet with each other, and with KGRE. The main reason for the
meeting was to begin the process of forming a KGRE English Language Interactive
Radio Presenter’s Network. In the past KGRE has assisted and encouraged
English language interactive radio programs in many parts of Indonesia.
KGRE wants to encourage more radio stations to further develop, or even
introduce, their own interactive programs. KGRE plans to produce a set
of ‘Hints and Suggestions’ to help radio stations and their
presenters to do this.

KGRE’s New
Styled Website
Maybe you have noticed that the KGRE website has a new template
design. Instead of the page buttons running down the left side of the
computer screen (browser) they are now across the top and bottom of each
page. We hope this makes it easier for you to find pages on the website.
There are also two new pages - Oz Indo Connection and Interviews. During
September and October KGRE will be adding a lot more information to the
website The easiest way to find things on the KGRE website is to use the
SEARCH function. Just type in words and the website will find them automatically
for you - and quickly too. For example type in words such as scholarships,
staff, Sorong, your club name, etc. you will soon find where they are
on the KGRE website. It is that easy!

KGRE SMS Quiz
Very soon KGRE will offer quizzes via SMS. The quizzes are simple
and you will win fabulous prizes. More
instructions and details soon. Do you have any ideas for this? |
