‘ELEVEN’

This is a good game for club meetings. People of all ages will enjoy it. Read the instructions carefully and make sure you understand how to play the game before you start.

1. Club members (CM) stand in a circle. Seven to ten CM is enough for one circle. The first CM says one, two or three numbers, starting with zero. Example: ‘zero’ or ‘zero, one’ or ‘zero, one, two’.

2. The next CM continues, choosing one, two or three numbers. The first CM to say ‘eleven’ is out and the game continues until one CM remains. Here’s an example of a game:

CM 1: ’Zero, one’
CM 2: ‘Two, three, four’
CM 3: ‘Five’
CM 4: ‘Six, seven, eight’
CM 5: ‘Nine, ten’
CM 6: ‘Eleven’. This CM sits down and the next CM starts again with ‘zero’.

• The game could be changed to ‘Twenty’ or ‘Fifteen’ or ANY number!
• You could change the name of the game to ‘Numbers’ and odd or even numbers could be used.
• You could change the name of the game to ‘Alphabet’. The CM who says ’z’ is out.
