KangGURU Travels to Singaraja, Bali

On January 21st, Kevin made a quick trip to Singaraja in north Bali. He visited the RRI station in Singaraja and met with students from nearby schools. Kevin also attended a teacher workshop ran by WILTA and IALF Bali.

The Manager of RRI Singaraja, Pak Ardika, had invited around 50 high school students at the meeting. Kevin told them all about KGRE and of course, the prizes and competitions made them very attentive.

After several hours at RRI Singaraja he moved across the road to SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja to assist with a Teacher Workshop being run there by members of IALF Bali in conjunction with WILTA, the Westralian Indonesian Language teacher Association. Komang and Gayatri from IALF Bali together with Kate from WILTA ran the two day workshop with KGRE just joining for the last few ours. About 60 teachers attended the workshop and Kevin certainly enjoyed being a part of it all.
