Kang GURU with Australian Education Centre
(AEC - Surabaya) in Denpasar — April 28th, 2007

On Saturday the 28th of April, Cheryl from Kang Guru presented a special Kang Guru mini-workshop in Bali. This workshop was sponsored by the Australian Education Centre (AEC), and was part of a very busy program of activities organized by Josephine Ratna who manages AEC in Surabaya.

Travelling to this workshop was very easy for me as I live not far from the Sanur Paradise Plasa Hotel where it was held. Twenty-five teachers, most of them teaching English at SMA level, attended and participated very well.

This workshop was shorter than usual because in the afternoon AEC held an information session for people interested in studying in Australia. However, we managed to do a range of listening activities from the Kang Guru SMP and SMA teaching packages, and there was time for the usual quiz.

Thanks to AEC for providing such a great venue, and to the participants who made sure they got as much benefit as possible out of their Saturday morning with Kang Guru.
